NEWS, FAIR and FABRIC

We dye this Pontex Spring Summer 2023 Collection with energetic and vibrant colors, with textile productions that respect nature and the environment It is a collection with a versatile soul, which embraces the raw material and color as means and vectors of emotions. The thrill of leaving, of a frivolous fashion that lightens us, the thrill of wearing something that reflects our nature without any restrictions. With the courage to dare, to look forward with energy and confidence, in constant balance between immediate pleasure and sustainability.  Focus Color Our palette for Spring Summer 2023 is composed of tonic and vibrant colors that take advantage of the multiple chromatic impulses of nature and the earth without forgetting the delicate sandy shades, to be enlivened with natural and vegetable dyes as they used to do, where the pigments are diffuse by capillarity in the fibers. We apply the strength of color to this Collection to bring a strongly summery spirit into it through an unpredictable color chart, which balances optical whites, to be developed with eco-responsible finishes, with bold and courageous shades such as the bright and intense green of freshly cut grass, the golden yellow of summer fields, the fleshy ocher that leads us to the discovery of the earth, the bonbon pink to breathe moments of freedom and reach infinity. And then again the vivid and tropical lime green and the bright fluorescent orange, declined in the most energizing and saturated versions so as not to go unnotice.  Focus Raw Material We move away from excessive consumerism to approach the theme of creating with awareness.Pontex's choice focuses on natural and light fabrics for clothing with a fresh touch, but at the same time more functional and resistant, with high performance. To consume less material ensuring longer lasting performance; to create unique garments that accompany the person over time and reduce all forms of waste. Ready-to-wear garments, which can never be missing in the wardrobe: shirts, tank tops, trousers, jackets, shorts (or bermuda pants), indigo recycled denims that never betray their versatile and glamorous nature. Once again against the fashion of waste. NATURAL RAW MATERIALS AND ORGANIC AND SUSTAINABLE FIBERS This land is what inspires us in the choice of natural raw materials and organic and sustainable fibers, cellulosic plant fibers such as organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, linen, tencel, ramie.  Soft summer touches made with natural fibers that maintain their essence or that, depending on the request, take on new dimensions and facets as a result of treatments and finishes that give it new aesthetic qualities, high performance and resistance. Coatings and natural resins, iridescent aspects with a shiny and wet effect. The Spring Summer 2023 Collection offers chameleon-like fabrics for clothing, which also in their naturalness and in their tradition and culture will showcase bold colors, which persist and resist ultraviolet rays and washing without losing their strongest essence. For a fashion that returns to laugh, and smile, where the play of colors becomes a magical chromatic interlocking to be worn as if by magic.  Comfort and tradition, with a bold touch: this is how the new Pontex proposal could be summarized, which maintains its solid foundations and strong awareness of the past, with an eye to the future. Pontex. Customized clothing fabrics since 1972.

The goal? Reduce the environmental impact as indicated by the goal 12 of the 2030 Agenda "Responsible consumption and production" The Pontex approach is respectful of the environment and therefore oriented towards the use of sustainable raw materials and natural dyes and products. We have been working on fabrics for clothing between sustainability and creation: we have decided to further increase the use of sustainable raw materials such as organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, linen, tencel, proposing color palettes with natural colors obtained from cabbage, beet, red cabbage, walnut husk, turmeric, golden onion.Shades inspired by earth and vegetable colors, looking at nature observed under the microscope, delicate colors that combine performance and naturalness. SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIALS One hundred percent vegetable and natural fibers, linens associated with cottons, linen blends and cottons, for shirts and casual fabrics but also for sports fabrics.Hemp, organic cottons, linens and artificial fibers such as tencel to make lightweight and resistant clothing fabrics, to consume less material ensuring longer lasting performance.  Organic cotton Soft and natural, organic cotton makes it possible to create anti-allergic clothing fabrics, which do not irritate and which give a pleasant sensation to the touch because they are softer and more breathable than traditional cotton.Organic cotton is a more sustainable choice than traditional cotton, because it is produced without using pesticides or fertilizers and also reducing water consumption.  Hemp Foto di Alina Blumberg da Pexels Hemp is a natural textile fiber, which is extracted from the plant of the same name. With hemp it is possible to obtain ecological fabrics for clothing, because the plant from which it originates grows spontaneously and does not require pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers during cultivation. This means that the resulting tissue is healthy and does not cause irritation in contact with the skin.Hemp is highly insulating, therefore it protects from the heat and allows us to create fabrics that are ideal for making spring and summer clothing. Linen Linen is the oldest fiber in the world, a sustainable fabric with a very low environmental footprint, like hemp, whose plant of origin does not require large quantities of water or chemicals. Furthermore, the linen fibers are very strong and shiny and produce fresh and absorbent fabrics, therefore ideal for the spring and summer season.  Bamboo Foto di Karolina Grabowska da Pexels Bamboo is an ecological artificial fiber of natural origin extracted from the homonymous plant; it is an ecological fabric, because the plant from which it is obtained grows spontaneously avoiding the waste of water resources. The bamboo fabric is breathable and suitable for contact with the skin, it is breathable, antibacterial and has a great moisture absorption capacity.A garment made with bamboo fabric is soft on the skin, delicate and prevents redness and irritation. Tencel Tencel fiber has a natural structure, extracted from the cellulose of the eucalyptus trees whose cultivation is managed in a sustainable way.Tencel allows you to make clothing fabrics that are smooth and soft on the skin, resistant and breathable because the eucalyptus wood from which it is made has the advantage of absorbing moisture in a natural way. Washing and drying do not require special attention and Tencel does not need to be ironed.  NATURAL DYES Sustainable raw materials, to create natural clothing fabrics to be worn in their naturalness or associated with colored and dense shades.Beetroot cabbage, red cabbage, walnut husk, turmeric, golden onion, natural dyes through which to obtain pigmentations and chromatic shades that recall nature, to be moved by the chromatic richness that nature brings us.
