Our new Autumn Winter 22.23 Collection is also responsible and sustainable: the Pontex proposal includes sustainable clothing fabrics in organic cotton, with GOTS and BCI certifications, Supima cottons, bio resins with natural dyes which are proper to realize jackets and trousers in sportswear style.
Comfortable and functional garments, beautiful to wear for their high aesthetic value.

Our collection includes sustainable cotton fabrics, obtained by applying the standards of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), the largest non-profit organization in the world that works to ensure a more sustainable future in the cotton field. This means that our cotton is grown ethically, through a drastic reduction of all harmful chemicals and a more efficient use of the water resource.

Used both since ancient times, cotton is probably the most common fabric in the world, but to be considered sustainable it must necessarily come from organic farming. Our Autumn Winter 22.23 Collection also includes organic cotton with Gots certification, which therefore guarantees the biological origin of the textile fibers and their traceability along the ecosustainable production chain.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the highest standard in the world for organic fibers; in addition to verifying compliance with the organic production requirements of the entire textile supply chain, it also considers that environmental and social responsibility requirements are met along the entire production chain.

Pants in Gots organic cotton fabric

Natural dyes, biological resins, for an eco sustainable product from A to Z.
These are the ingredients of the Sustainability Package created by Pontex for the Fall Winter 22.23 Collection: after a long period of study by our Pontex Research and Development team, we have created a sustainable novelty: organic resins with a color palette intended for natural dyeing of fabric, for the creation of jackets and pants for a sportswear style.

The resin-coated fabrics, which are part of our production, have versatile characteristics of great utility: they are subjected to the resin treatment but still maintain lightness and texture, they can be washed either with a sponge or by immersion, and are ironable.
The dyeing of these resins is completely natural, of vegetable origin, made through eco-compatible processes: this means not using chemicals: no toxicity, therefore, and no allergic reactions on the skin.

Supima cotton, also known as “luxury cotton”, is a cotton with a long fiber (which exceeds 29 mm) and very resistant, as well as thin. It is one of the finest and most precious cottons in the world, recognized for its extraordinary softness and shine, which makes it better with each wash without losing its shape and resisting tears and breaks.
Our Collection also includes Supima Cotton to make comfortable sportswear-style trousers.
Supima cotton to make comfortable but elegant trousers: a bright cotton whose handfeel improves with each wash.

The goal? Reduce the environmental impact as indicated by the goal 12 of the 2030 Agenda "Responsible consumption and production" The Pontex approach is respectful of the environment and therefore oriented towards the use of sustainable raw materials and natural dyes and products. We have been working on fabrics for clothing between sustainability and creation: we have decided to further increase the use of sustainable raw materials such as organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, linen, tencel, proposing color palettes with natural colors obtained from cabbage, beet, red cabbage, walnut husk, turmeric, golden onion.Shades inspired by earth and vegetable colors, looking at nature observed under the microscope, delicate colors that combine performance and naturalness. SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIALS One hundred percent vegetable and natural fibers, linens associated with cottons, linen blends and cottons, for shirts and casual fabrics but also for sports fabrics.Hemp, organic cottons, linens and artificial fibers such as tencel to make lightweight and resistant clothing fabrics, to consume less material ensuring longer lasting performance.  Organic cotton Soft and natural, organic cotton makes it possible to create anti-allergic clothing fabrics, which do not irritate and which give a pleasant sensation to the touch because they are softer and more breathable than traditional cotton.Organic cotton is a more sustainable choice than traditional cotton, because it is produced without using pesticides or fertilizers and also reducing water consumption.  Hemp Foto di Alina Blumberg da Pexels Hemp is a natural textile fiber, which is extracted from the plant of the same name. With hemp it is possible to obtain ecological fabrics for clothing, because the plant from which it originates grows spontaneously and does not require pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers during cultivation. This means that the resulting tissue is healthy and does not cause irritation in contact with the skin.Hemp is highly insulating, therefore it protects from the heat and allows us to create fabrics that are ideal for making spring and summer clothing. Linen Linen is the oldest fiber in the world, a sustainable fabric with a very low environmental footprint, like hemp, whose plant of origin does not require large quantities of water or chemicals. Furthermore, the linen fibers are very strong and shiny and produce fresh and absorbent fabrics, therefore ideal for the spring and summer season.  Bamboo Foto di Karolina Grabowska da Pexels Bamboo is an ecological artificial fiber of natural origin extracted from the homonymous plant; it is an ecological fabric, because the plant from which it is obtained grows spontaneously avoiding the waste of water resources. The bamboo fabric is breathable and suitable for contact with the skin, it is breathable, antibacterial and has a great moisture absorption capacity.A garment made with bamboo fabric is soft on the skin, delicate and prevents redness and irritation. Tencel Tencel fiber has a natural structure, extracted from the cellulose of the eucalyptus trees whose cultivation is managed in a sustainable way.Tencel allows you to make clothing fabrics that are smooth and soft on the skin, resistant and breathable because the eucalyptus wood from which it is made has the advantage of absorbing moisture in a natural way. Washing and drying do not require special attention and Tencel does not need to be ironed.  NATURAL DYES Sustainable raw materials, to create natural clothing fabrics to be worn in their naturalness or associated with colored and dense shades.Beetroot cabbage, red cabbage, walnut husk, turmeric, golden onion, natural dyes through which to obtain pigmentations and chromatic shades that recall nature, to be moved by the chromatic richness that nature brings us.
